About the position

CobbFendley is seeking a Project Manager to join our Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project teams on both conventional and unconventional projects, applying their technical expertise and project management experience to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for various essential functions, including production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, financial management, and marketing assistance. The role also involves mentoring project engineers and technical professionals, performing quality control reviews of completed designs, and representing CobbFendley at client meetings. The successful candidate will utilize existing relationships and develop new ones to secure new clients and projects, while also participating in marketing and proposal preparation efforts. This position requires a motivated individual who can work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines and minimal supervision, while maintaining a professional attitude and fulfilling responsibilities with integrity. Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams on conventional and unconventional projects.
  • Perform production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, financial management, and marketing assistance.
  • Mentor project engineers and technical professionals in their training and development.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs and project tasks, including preliminary engineering reports, layouts, plans, and cost estimates.
  • Represent CobbFendley at client meetings and coordinate with clients.
  • Participate in marketing and proposal preparation efforts.
  • Develop new client relationships and projects using existing relationships.
  • Perform independent research and manage changing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to CobbFendley’s safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • P.E. license in the State of Texas required.
  • 5+ years of progressive civil engineering design experience.
  • Recent civil engineering project experience in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area.
  • Knowledge and capability with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Motivation to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines.
  • Desire to collaborate with professionals and clients to enhance industry knowledge and career growth.
  • Commitment to perform responsibilities consistent with industry standards.
