About the position

In this role as a Project Manager for Client Implementation within the Fleet Management division at Ford Motor Company, you will be integral to the onboarding process of new fleet customers. The Ford Pro Fleet Team is dedicated to providing exceptional sales and service support for commercial fleet customers who are contracting for our comprehensive suite of commercial services. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the onboarding of new fleet customers, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance with initial product setup and training on how to effectively utilize Ford Pro Fleet Software & Services. This position requires you to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you will act as the primary contact for fleet customers during their onboarding stage. You will provide updates on new features or functionalities and identify opportunities to educate customers on additional products offered by the Ford Pro Team. Your role will also involve assisting customers in maximizing the value they receive from the products and services delivered. This includes monitoring usage, offering training on underutilized functionalities, and supporting the overall invoicing and collections processes, which encompass credit approval, invoicing, and notifications regarding outstanding balances. You will be expected to provide insights to the management team regarding customer usage of programs, including feedback on what they appreciate, what they find lacking, and suggestions for new functionalities that could enhance their fleet management experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for escalating customer concerns, maintaining an open issues tracking system, and driving these issues to resolution. You will also assist with the launch of new Ford Pro and Ford Pro Intelligence product offerings to existing fleet customers, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of these new services into their operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage new fleet customer onboarding, including assistance with initial product setup and training on Ford Pro Fleet Software & Services.
  • Act as primary contact for fleet customers during the onboarding stage, providing updates on new features and identifying educational opportunities.
  • Assist customers in maximizing the value received from products and services, monitoring usage, and providing training on underutilized functionalities.
  • Support overall Ford Pro invoicing and collections processes, including credit approval and notifications of outstanding balances.
  • Provide management team with insights into customer usage of programs, including feedback on likes, dislikes, and desired functionalities.
  • Escalate customer concerns and maintain tracking of open issues, driving them to resolution.
  • Assist with the launch of new Ford Pro and Ford Pro Intelligence product offerings with existing fleet customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Fleet Management experience required.
  • 3+ years of onboarding and implementation of new clients experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • 1+ years of experience with Project Management Software, such as Smartsheet, Monday, Asana, or similar.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior account management experience preferred.
  • Prior sales or service contact experience with Dealers and/or Commercial Fleet customers is beneficial but not required.
  • Prior experience working in the Fleet Management Space.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is beneficial but not required.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to think creatively in a dynamic environment.
  • Very detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and communicating with the sales team.
  • Ability to identify business needs and communicate them to a product development team.
  • Courageous and persuasive in pursuit of customer and business needs.
