About the position

The Project Manager Clinical Engineering Implementation at AdventHealth Orlando is responsible for overseeing projects related to medical equipment within the Clinical Engineering department. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the proper installation, functionality, and compliance of medical equipment, as well as managing renovations and expansions of medical facilities. The PM will work closely with clinical and engineering staff, equipment manufacturers, and contractors to deliver projects that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all assigned projects and project meetings related to medical equipment.
• Provide input and guidance on new equipment purchases and installation requirements.
• Manage the relocation or removal of existing assets and oversee major renovations and expansions.
• Support project planning and identify appropriate medical equipment within project scopes.
• Interface with hospital clinical and engineering staff to ensure project compliance and functionality.
• Distribute project information timely and manage relationships with equipment manufacturers and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Computer/Electronic Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Five years of experience in healthcare facilities in a Biomedical engineering role or equivalent experience.

• Two years of project management experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent PM certification(s)
