About the position

The Project Manager in the Clinical Integration Office at NewYork-Presbyterian is responsible for coordinating project activities that support the Vice President of Operations & Planning. This role focuses on various initiatives, including the Physician Assistant Services Office and the opening of a new Ambulatory Surgery Center. The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and quality delivery of complex enterprise projects while fostering collaboration among diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all project activities supporting the Vice President of Operations & Planning.
  • Drive the execution of the full life cycle of projects including scope definition, planning, analysis, measurement, and communication.
  • Manage and deliver complex enterprise projects ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and of quality.
  • Lead meetings of project workgroups, facilitating discussions around project deliverables and identifying action items.
  • Assign tasks to team members for follow-up and completion, and identify threats and opportunities.
  • Obtain additional resources as needed for project success.
  • Work with various leaders and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and present data effectively.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of project management or related experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree
  • PMP certification
  • Six-Sigma / Lean certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in all phases of project development and design
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with hospital management and professional staff
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a specific goal performance record
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
