About the position

The Project Manager Construction Coordinator at HCA Healthcare is responsible for leading construction projects within the Tampa Bay area, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including facility administration, contractors, and engineers, to oversee the construction and maintenance of healthcare facilities. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership on construction projects, collaborating with facility administration, department leadership, contractors, and architects.
• Ensures adherence to budget and schedule, making necessary adjustments when complications arise.
• Plans, coordinates, organizes, and oversees construction and maintenance activities using E-builder software.
• Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite, meeting all safety codes in construction.
• Assesses, develops, and monitors pre-construction risk assessments and interim life safety assessments for all projects.
• Reviews project scope documentation and evaluates bids.
• Oversees contract negotiations and adherence by all parties related to safety and construction.
• Manages new construction buildouts, ensuring projects stay within budget and on time.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management experience.
• Two-year degree in a relevant field with 5 years of project management experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of project management experience.
• Project management certification is required.
