About the position

As a Project Manager for Corporate Office Renovations at CBRE, you will be responsible for delivering consulting services to a high-profile client account, ensuring successful project delivery from initiation through completion. This role involves managing various aspects of project management, including planning, design, construction, and occupancy, while interfacing directly with clients to meet their strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources and conduct standard requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, tracking project progress and reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, implementing action plans to reduce or eliminate risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job discipline and related functions.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, working to build consensus and convince others to reach agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the commercial real estate industry, including financial analysis, project management, construction, ethical practices, business operations, marketing, and business development.
  • Proven experience leading multiple commercial real estate interior renovation projects simultaneously under pressure or in fast-paced environments.
  • Prior experience in construction and construction project management is preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information and willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
