About the position

As a Project Manager for Corporate Office Renovations at CBRE, you will be responsible for managing high-profile client accounts and ensuring successful project delivery from initiation through completion. This role involves consulting services, project planning, design, construction, and occupancy, with a focus on achieving strategic business objectives for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources and conduct standard requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, and track project progress, reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, implementing action plans to reduce or eliminate risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, working to build consensus and convince others to reach agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the commercial real estate industry, including financial analysis, project management, construction, ethical practices, business operations, marketing, and business development.
  • Proven experience leading multiple commercial real estate interior renovation projects simultaneously under pressure or fast-paced environments.
  • Prior experience in construction and construction project management is preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information and willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
