About the position

As a Professional Services Project Manager/Customer Success Specialist for McGraw Hill, you will play a pivotal role in providing professional learning services and overarching support to clients utilizing our innovative math solutions, including the McGraw Hill Reveal Math Core Curriculum and ALEKS web-based Math solutions. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a significant impact on the learning experiences of students and educators alike. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with educators and school leaders, ensuring that our solutions are effectively implemented and utilized to their fullest potential. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as the main liaison between the McGraw Hill Math Solutions team and Baltimore City Public Schools. You will collaborate closely with school and district leaders to create a comprehensive implementation plan that encompasses curriculum alignment, classroom procedures, and usage expectations. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure a coordinated and timely launch of our programs across all networks and schools within Baltimore City, as well as ongoing support throughout the academic year. In addition to implementation, you will provide professional learning support both onsite and online, conducting workshops, classroom modeling, and individual consulting sessions for teachers and administrators. Monitoring program usage through data analysis will be crucial, as you will need to synthesize findings and adjust classroom practices accordingly. You will also coordinate district-wide initiatives, build internal capacity, and communicate regularly with leadership to identify and address any barriers to implementation. This position is remote but requires 80% travel, primarily within the Baltimore area. You will be expected to work within district offices and school buildings several days a week, fostering relationships and ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of educators and students. Your role will also involve collaborating with sales representatives and scheduling coordinators to facilitate high-level meetings and customer support, ensuring that all stakeholders receive the assistance they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a relationship with and serve as the primary liaison between the McGraw Hill Math Solutions team and Baltimore City Public Schools.
  • Collaborate with school and district leaders to develop an ongoing implementation plan, including curriculum alignment, scope and sequence documents, classroom procedures, usage expectations, and timelines.
  • Ensure a coordinated and timely launch and full-year implementation across all networks and schools within Baltimore City.
  • Consult with the district regularly to execute the detailed implementation plan.
  • Provide professional learning support onsite and online, including workshops, classroom modeling, and individual action-based consulting sessions for teachers, school administrators, and district personnel.
  • Monitor program usage by analyzing program data, synthesizing findings, and coordinating with users to adjust classroom practices.
  • Coordinate district-wide initiatives, build internal district capacity, and scale for student growth.
  • Communicate regularly with school and district leadership to identify barriers to implementation, provide suggestions to resolve challenges, and respond promptly to all stakeholders' needs.
  • Collaborate and coordinate support services with the core sales rep.
  • Organize and facilitate high-level leadership meetings to review data and support implementation with fidelity.
  • Act as the point of contact for all customer support, including the planning and delivery of professional learning services and managing deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with Scheduling Coordinators in securing and scheduling customer appointments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in K-12 math education, with an understanding of standards mastery, personalized learning, blended learning, data-driven instruction, and professional/consulting experience.
  • Experience serving as a building or district level math coach is highly desired.
  • Bachelor's Degree required. (Advanced degree in education, math, or educational technology preferred)
  • Ability and willingness to work within district offices, school buildings and classrooms 3-4 days a week.
  • Extraordinary desire to learn and innate drive to help others.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with employees and customers of varying levels, personalities, and abilities.
  • Familiarity with major operating systems, browsers, Zoom, Microsoft Office suite, and internet concepts is a requirement.
  • Ability to develop a tracking and reporting process to communicate weekly with Baltimore City math leadership and McGraw Hill territory leadership.
