About the position

The Project Manager for Cybersecurity and Cloud Solutions at Tangent Technologies LLC is responsible for leading mission-critical IT, Cloud, and cybersecurity projects. This role requires translating customer needs into actionable plans, ensuring compliance with federal standards, and managing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time. The position is particularly suited for candidates with military experience in IT or cybersecurity, aiming to leverage their skills in a civilian context.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into clear, actionable plans that align with mission objectives.
• Manage IT, Cloud, and cybersecurity projects to ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and adherence to federal standards.
• Oversee Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and alignment to achieve project goals.
• Serve as the primary interface between customers and project teams, ensuring their requirements are clearly understood and met.
• Apply knowledge of federal policies, processes, and standards to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Prior military service with IT, cybersecurity, operations, or project management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, or related fields.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Assurance Technician (IAT) III, Information Assurance Management (IAM) III, Information Assurance System Architects and Engineers (IASAE) III.
• 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years of specialized experience in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security for a government agency comparable to the Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Cybersecurity Officer, Information Systems Manager, Network Operations Manager, or Program Manager in the military.
