About the position

The Project Manager - Design at NNE is responsible for leading cross-disciplinary execution teams within the Facility Design area, focusing on projects that shape the future of sustainable and intelligent pharmaceutical facilities. This role involves managing complex projects, ensuring they meet defined objectives and deliverables, and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders to optimize the pharmaceutical manufacturing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall project scope and establish detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Organize and manage multi-disciplined project teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Manage major project milestones, schedules, and monthly cost plans.
  • Provide periodic project status updates to stakeholders, including risks and financial updates.
  • Oversee project change control to maintain scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Ensure alignment of all project lifecycle facets with expectations set by the steering group or project owner.
  • Execute projects in partnership with the Client, spending significant time onsite with the team.
  • Apply a business mindset to create value for pharmaceutical companies.
  • Innovate to find new ways to create value for customers.
  • Collaborate with companies offering complementary services/products to deliver value.
  • Lead people and drive team performance throughout project execution.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in a Technical Discipline or Business Management.
  • 8 years of practical experience managing complex projects, with a minimum of 6 years in the pharma industry.
  • Experience managing mid to large multi-discipline design projects (TIC 50 to 300 million).
  • Knowledge of core work processes and GMP concepts.
  • Basic understanding of contractual documents and ability to read/review design drawings (CAD).
  • Basic understanding of P&ID, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • PMP or similar certification is considered a bonus.
