About the position

The Project Manager at Siemens is responsible for deploying advanced building automation systems in a cloud environment, integrating onsite technology with cloud services. This role emphasizes collaboration across various teams and managing project revenue and gross margins while ensuring timely execution. The position also involves program management responsibilities, requiring innovation and experience in managing multiple technology disciplines within a single project.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage multidiscipline project plans and schedules
  • Complete tech scope ownership; defining scope gaps and mitigation approach
  • Complete financial ownership of a project
  • Contractual review and coordination with client, partners and legal teams
  • Business-level cybersecurity risk assessment and mitigation planning
  • Coordination with all relevant client departments (IT, cyber, facilities, financial, legal)
  • Project subcontractor management to include scoping, bidding/procurement, onboarding and management
  • Contract deliverables definition for the extended project team (breaking down scope)
  • Ops team collaboration and direction
  • Collaboration across Siemens silos
  • Program Management over building automation, fire, lighting control, EPMS, and electrical switchgear trades

Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • 3 plus years of experience in the application and concepts of Low Voltage Products
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Experience working with construction
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Familiarity or experience with HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security Systems
  • Familiarity with evaluating OT to IT integration implementations
  • Experience with evaluating costs associated with implementing cloud-based analytics programs for new and existing building automation customers
  • Experience with financial services and/or life sciences customers
  • Familiarity with AWS environments and terminology around various AWS services
