About the position

The Project Manager - Digital Integration Solutions at Eaton is responsible for leading and managing large service engineering projects related to power management and control systems. This remote role involves significant travel (50%) and requires the application of modern project management tools to ensure successful project execution, from engineering and procurement to construction and maintenance of electrical power monitoring systems. The position emphasizes customer relationship management, project scheduling, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide applied engineering and consultation to customers in system integration, installation, start-up, maintenance, repair, training, and modification of power management systems.
  • Use modern project management tools to execute projects related to electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS).
  • Manage the DIS portion of awarded projects for electrical equipment and critical process monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and support Sales with quotations.
  • Interface and coordinate with other plants and business units to procure parts and services.
  • Create clear and achievable cost, quality, and schedule objectives and ensure successful completion.
  • Estimate, prepare, submit, and manage change orders.
  • Plan, establish, maintain, and regularly update project schedules.
  • Manage communication and distribute documentation between Eaton and its customers.
  • Report, forecast, and present project financial activity to management.
  • Provide direction to field personnel as needed.
  • Prepare, distribute, and follow through with project safety plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading and managing large service engineering projects of complex scope.
  • Experience working with Power Management, Power Control, Mission Critical, or Building Management systems.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • All candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of one of the work locations listed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Applied knowledge of current EPMS and BMS Software.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.
  • Professional Engineering License.
