About the position

The Project Manager of Digital Marketing monitors and reports progress for content and creative projects in alignment with departmental and organizational goals and expectations. Pivotal to the timely and successful execution of digital marketing assets, the Project Manager coordinates multiple project staff team members across numerous simultaneous digital projects on a daily basis. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager of Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in outstanding customer service and serve as the single/primary point of contact on projects.
  • Proactively gather necessary staff and stakeholders to set appropriate project scopes and develop executable project plans.
  • Allocate schedules, project scope, assets, and budget and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon from conception to launch.
  • Ensure requirements and project timelines are clearly communicated and understood with all relevant parties.
  • Proactively communicate to keep projects on track. Check in and follow up with all project staff, including marketing managers, web developers, copywriters, graphic designers, videographers, search engine optimization specialists, social strategists, photographers, analysts, etc.
  • Monitor project risks and scope creep early and often to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify and present solutions to management.
  • Apply discernment in when to escalate project conflicts to a supervisor.
  • Align resource allocation to ensure proper project prioritization.
  • Regularly report on project status, scopes and budgets.
  • Provide training and education on project management tools and systems as needed.
  • Identify and implement best practices for marketing campaigns specific to retail audiences.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners involved in retail campaigns.
  • Develop timelines and benchmarks for retail marketing initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and evaluation of campaign success metrics.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong process and organizational skills as well as natural disposition towards customer service and relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Proficient with computer/support tools: Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or related field OR 15 years of related Project Management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing marketing or digital projects
  • Proven experience managing projects for retail service lines, including cross-functional coordination and campaign execution

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare-related marketing projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar
