About the position

As a Project Manager for Lottery Digital Products at Scientific Games, you will oversee the development of innovative digital solutions within lottery systems. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with strategic goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products while leading and motivating project teams in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, timeline, milestones, resources, and budget.
  • Coordinate and oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Allocate resources and manage project team members, both internal and external.
  • Identify and address any performance issues or challenges within the team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management, partners, and vendors.
  • Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback to refine project deliverables and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively manage and resolve project issues and roadblocks.
  • Implement contingency plans as necessary to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables meets established standards and requirements.
  • Implement and oversee testing procedures to validate functionality and performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in digital R&D.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance project management practices and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management, particularly in digital product development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with project management methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
  • Tech-savvy with a passion for new technologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of retail/lottery operations.
  • Experience in the iGaming/real money gaming space.
