About the position

The Project Manager for Disruptive Innovation at McCain Foods is responsible for overseeing the commercialization processes and managing complex innovation projects within the North America region. This role is pivotal in driving timely innovation launches, ensuring resource allocation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in project management practices.

Responsibilities

• Outline McCain's commercialization process and best practices.
• Drive adoption of tools, templates, and behaviors across functions and levels of the organization.
• Manage project schedules for disruptive innovation projects, prioritizing critical paths.
• Lead recurring cross-functional project team meetings and address changes in project risk/scope.
• Report on pipeline sufficiency, ensuring accurate project capture and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements

• Prior experience with driving change management of complex processes at scale.
• Deep project management expertise in commercializing ambiguous and complex innovation projects in the CPG industry, preferably Food and Beverage.
• Proven ability to hold others accountable to project tasks and follow-ups.
• Comfortable presenting to senior leaders and driving change management with large teams.
• Ability to diagnose existing processes, recommend improvements, and rollout new processes.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills across functions and leadership levels.
• Proficient in MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
