Project Manager - Electric Vehicles

About the position

The Electric Vehicle (EV) Project Manager at PxT Infrastructure Solutions is responsible for managing multiple projects related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to oversee projects from initial client engagement through to commissioning and closeout. The Project Manager will ensure site safety, manage subcontractors, and maintain financial accountability for all projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects in various stages of development.
• Oversee project from client/site introduction through to commissioning and closeout.
• Conduct site assessments and designs for EV charging systems.
• Engage with utility companies for new service requests.
• Manage subcontractors and project scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Prepare project schedules and oversee weekly progress.
• Financially responsible for all projects including proposals, contracts, and invoicing.
• Conduct project meetings with subcontractors and clients.
• Prepare Master Subcontractor Agreements and Purchase Orders.
• Provide monthly accounting of all projects.

Requirements

• Strong electrical knowledge and experience in project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Ability to manage project team members effectively.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Estimating experience (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of EV industry standards and practices.
