About the position
The Project Manager (ENG Civil/Site Engineer) at Atlas is responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects, particularly in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment. The position involves site evaluations, design document preparation, and ensuring project compliance with technical and cost requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Project Manager for civil engineering projects, particularly solar projects.
- Conduct on-site visits for site evaluation and suitability assessments.
- Utilize analytical skills to integrate cost and technical requirements for optimized site work solutions.
- Review and approve construction submittals and address RFIs from project teams and subcontractors.
- Prepare comprehensive design documents for solar civil projects, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Lead and build teams in a growth-oriented market.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in civil design, preferably with solar plant site layouts.
- Proficiency in Autocad Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
