About the position

The Project Manager - Engineering at Chr Hansen Inc. is responsible for leading Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects across global production facilities and administration sites, primarily focusing on the Americas region. This role involves significant influence over project outcomes, requiring collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for CapEx projects in the Americas Region, with costs ranging from 200 t.USD to 5 m.USD.
• Align project scope with Operations teams, global colleagues, and the full project team.
• Proactively manage project schedules and ensure integration with deliverables.
• Coordinate, supervise, and direct internal and external suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
• Plan, budget, forecast, and report for projects.
• Audit onsite construction for safety and quality control, creating accountability within the team.
• Optimize engineering projects at local and global production facilities.
• Stay current with industry developments and incorporate innovations into the engineering function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project management or engineering.
