About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Project Manager to join the Enterprise Change Management Group. This role is integral to the Wholesale Operations Change Delivery team, where the individual will partner closely with Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Operations to deliver on strategic initiatives. The Project Manager will collaborate across Operations and Technology to effectively execute the organization's key priorities, leveraging best-in-class change management practices. In this position, the Project Manager will participate in larger efforts to independently manage sub-program components and identify opportunities for smaller scale, lower risk projects. This includes initiation planning, executing, controlling, and closing within change management. The individual will work in partnership with Technology to deliver change for business partners, ensuring alignment of actions and artifacts with project policy and methodology. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that appropriate business deliverables are produced, maintained, and that milestones are met. The role requires exercising independent judgment to guide project plans, budgets, and the resolution of issues, ensuring that project tasks are completed according to established timelines. The Project Manager will present recommendations for setting, tracking, and managing project financials, as well as developing business-related tasks for project planning and tracking. Additionally, the individual will collaborate and consult with various stakeholders, including subject matter experts, sponsors, and risk managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sub-program components and identify opportunities for smaller scale, lower risk projects.
  • Partner with Technology to deliver change for business partners.
  • Identify and capture project dependencies and interdependencies.
  • Ensure alignment of actions and artifacts with project policy and methodology.
  • Exercise independent judgment to guide project plans and budgets.
  • Present recommendations for managing project financials.
  • Develop business-related tasks for project planning and tracking.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, sponsors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Project Management and Methodologies experience.
  • Experience in Strategic Planning or Implementation.
  • Experience with Enterprise Change Management (ECM) policy and procedures.
  • 2+ years of Agile experience.
  • Experience working with Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Systems.
  • Understanding of product or program management.
  • Experience managing projects in a large enterprise environment.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executive-level leaders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management.
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment.
  • Experience presenting results of analyses to senior leaders.
