About the position

The Project Manager - Environments at 2020 Exhibits is responsible for overseeing the production of custom exhibits and booth rentals for trade shows and events. This role involves coordinating work across various departments, ensuring project quality, and maintaining client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Environment projects through production by creating timelines and managing those timelines.
  • Ensure project quality standards are met and timely project completion.
  • Review prospective projects and estimates in collaboration with AE's to determine feasibility.
  • Lead construction meetings to verify expectations and schedules.
  • Review work orders addressing questions related to new build construction, lead times, and use of materials.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and account teams on each project from start to finish.
  • Attend meetings to discuss the best way to execute upcoming projects.
  • Ensure relevant files are attached to projects and have been approved for production.
  • Provide the graphics department with correct field measurements and sizes for detailing.
  • Review elevation drawings before they go out to the client and prepress.
  • Estimate certain aspects of projects as needed by request.
  • Responsible for proposals pertaining to clients.
  • Work with purchasing to ensure proper materials are ordered.
  • Photograph completed projects and attach files to the project, alerting team members of completion.
  • Ensure manifest and packing list are completed and uploaded to the project.
  • Manage inbound property to ensure that inbound work order instructions are completed.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in exhibits/events/environments.
  • Ability to read blueprints and a working knowledge of standard display building materials and techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PC, and internet.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to anticipate problems, analyze, and proactively determine alternate solutions.
  • Must be accurate, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work flexible hours under extreme pressure and maintain deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task, change priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to assume responsibility for completion of projects in the absence of direct supervision.
