About the position

The Project Manager will lead the implementation of the Hyland OnBase document management system across 13 state-operated healthcare facilities, ensuring seamless integration with the Epic EHR system. This role requires managing large-scale IT projects in healthcare settings, particularly focusing on document management and EHR integration while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, facility stakeholders, vendors, and state regulatory bodies to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Hyland OnBase document management system across multiple healthcare facilities.
• Ensure seamless integration with the Epic EHR system.
• Manage large-scale IT projects in healthcare settings, focusing on document management and EHR integration.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and facility stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Oversee the implementation and integration of third-party applications as part of the Epic EHR implementation program.
• Develop and maintain project plans according to State and NCDHHS IT project management methodology.

Requirements

• 5 years of project management experience in healthcare IT.
• Experience with Epic implementation or operations support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS Suite.
• Strong knowledge of PMI standards for project management.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified in OnBase Workflow Administrator Professional or OnBase Administrator Professional.
• Familiarity with HL7 standards and e-faxing software.
• Knowledge of Pre-visit Documentation Management, Registration, Clinical Records, Hospital and Professional Billing Services.
