The Project Manager / Estimator role at Waypoint Partners is essential for overseeing multifamily construction projects from inception to completion. This position ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will manage project phases, develop cost estimates, monitor budgets, and maintain client relationships, all while leading a team of professionals in the construction field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to execution, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Develop and submit detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project expenses.
• Monitor project budgets, manage cost control, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Utilize project management software to create, manage, and update project schedules.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and construction crews to facilitate smooth project workflow.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Estimator in the construction industry, specifically with multifamily projects.
• Hands-on experience with Buildertrend or Procore construction management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficiency in budget management and cost estimation.
