The Project Manager Events at Freeman plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events by applying industry knowledge to effectively communicate and harmonize the production requirements of Freeman's clients between sales and branch operations. This position is integral to improving efficiencies, controlling costs, and providing a smooth flow of information throughout the event lifecycle. The Project Manager will work closely with both sales and operations teams before, during, and after events to guarantee that all production requirements are met successfully. This role is particularly focused on basic accounts that adhere to standard specifications, ensuring that all aspects of the event are managed effectively. The Project Manager will support the Audio Visual and Event Technology team and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, typically requiring in-office and/or show-site work 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate can be based in one of several locations, including Dallas, TX, Las Vegas, NV, Chicago, IL, or Orlando, FL. This position requires a proactive approach to event management, including budgetary support during the RFP process, providing technical advice, and participating in site surveys to ensure proper planning. The Project Manager will also be responsible for creating and reviewing CAD designs, maintaining a clear understanding of union jurisdictions, and supervising show site operations to ensure timely and cost-effective execution. In addition to these responsibilities, the Project Manager will communicate client objectives to show-site staff, assist in scheduling trucking arrangements, develop production schedules, and conduct post-show meetings to review all aspects of the event. This role is essential for compiling post-show reports and ensuring that all purchase orders and invoices are reviewed and approved accurately. The Project Manager will also participate in weekly operations meetings to provide input on event information, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the event process.
