About the position

The Evidence-Based Practices Project Manager (EBPPM) will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive statewide plan for the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) across Maine. This position is part of the Children's Behavioral Health Services Unit within the Office of Child & Family Services, focusing on ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families. The EBPPM will collaborate with various stakeholders, provide ongoing support, and monitor fidelity to the program, all while adhering to the Implementation Science model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a statewide project plan for the Triple P Positive Parenting Program.
  • Provide ongoing support and fidelity monitoring to providers of Triple P interventions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders specific to Triple P and represent the Department in initiatives.
  • Manage Children's Behavioral Health Services contracts related to Triple P and other evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance to monitor implementation and fidelity to Triple P.
  • Develop and implement tracking systems for providers of Triple P interventions.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices for children and families and the Children's Behavioral Health System.
  • Knowledge of available community resources and services.
  • Knowledge of client and family rights.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations affecting mental health practices.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Knowledge of contract development, oversight, data collection/analysis, and research.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage projects effectively and keep team members on task.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and plan large-scale projects.
  • Ability to analyze program data for quality improvement.
  • Ability to prepare and present orientation and training programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience/knowledge in the provision of behavioral health services to children and families, specifically evidence-based practices and promising practices.
