About the position

The Project Manager at Henderson Engineers will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution and ensuring a positive client experience. This role involves managing project proposals, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining communication with clients and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The Project Manager will work within the Health Sector, contributing to innovative building system designs across various high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of project execution and client experience on assigned projects.
  • Assist with the development of project proposals, contracts, and project budgets.
  • Manage the bid processes.
  • Plan and coordinate project deliverables on assigned projects.
  • Manage client service and project communication.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
  • Responsible for overall project performance.
  • Contribute to efforts to improve performance and ensure consistent adherence to applicable quality standards.
  • Support creating specific program project fees.
  • Manage client service and communication for specific program projects.
  • Responsible for the successful execution of assigned program projects.
  • Monitor project quality expectations on assigned projects.
  • Ensure deliverables meet project objectives and quality expectations.
  • Recognize project conflicts, make suggestions for resolution, and proactively work with other project leaders to resolve.
  • Manage project design and drafting activities to produce project deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary project contact and brand ambassador.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction with the project process and engineering work product.
  • Resolve project-related conflict and respond to client requests and questions on assigned projects.
  • Travel to certain locations for site visits as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business preferred.
  • 4 years of relevant experience within the AEC or Professional Services industry will be considered in lieu of requisite education.
  • 8 years of relevant experience required, including at least 4 years cumulative project management experience.
  • Proficiency in project management standards and execution required.
  • Have a passion for solidifying and nurturing current client and staff relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Revit, CAD, and/or Bluebeam.
  • Project management certification.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
