About the position

Gale Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer/Project Manager to oversee various projects related to building enclosures, including roofs, facades, fenestrations, and waterproofing. The role involves evaluating, designing, and administering construction projects, with a focus on historic restoration of commercial structures. The position emphasizes mentoring, quality control, and business development, while also allowing for remote work opportunities and a balanced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager on building enclosure projects.
• Evaluate, design, and administer construction projects related to roofs, facades, fenestrations, and waterproofing.
• Coordinate staff to complete assignments and ensure quality control procedures are followed.
• Complete project deliverables including construction documents, technical reports, and cost estimating.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the success of the structural team.
• Assist with writing proposals and business development efforts.
• Present and represent Gale at client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in building enclosure renovations/rehabilitations.
• P.E. or RA Registration is required.
• Project management experience.
• Proficient communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a design team.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu.
