About the position

The Project Manager at G|M Business Interiors is responsible for ensuring the operational success of assigned projects, focusing on client satisfaction and adherence to project timelines and budgets. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing project milestones, and serving as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational success of assigned projects in line with G|M's core values.
• Attend construction meetings and report on project status and needs.
• Coordinate deliveries to client jobsites and ensure jobsite readiness.
• Meet weekly with MicroTeams to discuss upcoming projects and assist with quotes.
• Monitor project budgets and update management milestones regularly.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule while meeting client needs.
• Provide support and guidance to various internal teams and serve as the main contact for MicroTeams.
• Learn and utilize the Project Module in Elevate for daily updates and entries.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; relevant college degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the contract furniture industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and comfortable with learning new technology.
• Exceptional organization and interpersonal skills.
• Optimistic, customer-focused mindset.
• Quick thinking, self-motivated problem solver.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
