About the position

The Project Manager at G|M Business Interiors is responsible for ensuring the operational success of assigned furniture installation projects, maintaining high client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves coordinating project timelines, managing budgets, and serving as the primary point of contact for project teams and clients, ensuring that all project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Attend construction meetings and report on project status and needs.
• Coordinate deliveries to client jobsites for each project.
• Meet weekly with MicroTeams to discuss upcoming projects and assist with quotes and product tagging.
• Work closely with the Scheduling Manager to ensure skilled labor is available when needed.
• Review and monitor project budgets and update management milestones daily.
• Ensure all projects are completed on schedule and meet client needs.
• Provide operational guidance to various teams including Account Executives and Designers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for MicroTeams regarding reconfigurations and field measures.
• Learn and utilize the Project Module in Elevate for daily updates and entries.
• Meet weekly with the manager to review project statuses.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; relevant college degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the contract furniture industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and comfortable with learning new technology.
• Exceptional organization and interpersonal skills.
• Optimistic, customer-focused mindset.
• Quick thinking, self-motivated problem solver.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
