About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of construction management principles. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software.
• Review and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
• Utilize Prolog for project documentation and reporting.
• Implement effective time management strategies to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
• Utilize Civil 3D for design-related tasks as needed.
• Manage contracts effectively to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract management principles.
• Proficiency in project scheduling tools and software, including HeavyBid and other construction management software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
• Familiarity with project coordination processes and methodologies.
• Time management skills that enable you to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
