About the position

The Project Manager for the Home Energy Business at Honda is responsible for developing and executing product and business strategies focused on sustainability and energy solutions. This role involves navigating the rapidly changing landscape of electric and energy products, enhancing brand competitiveness, and ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative offerings. The position is integral to the Sustainability Business Division, contributing to new revenue streams and value for customers through home energy management, EV charging solutions, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends and technologies in the Home Energy sector and analyze competitors' products and services.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative, long-term solutions for the Home Energy Business.
• Identify areas for research and provide input to gather feedback on home energy products.
• Analyze consumer data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for product and service improvement.
• Support the development and execution of product launch plans, including timelines and marketing activities.
• Work closely with the marketing team to provide input on Energy product marketing campaigns.
• Develop and implement new processes focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Train Operations team members on new processes and monitor execution.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in home energy, renewable energy, or connected home industries.
• Knowledge of energy products and services.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Experience with data analysis and market research.
• Excellent technical, planning, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the renewable energy industry.
• Familiarity with customer journey mapping.
• Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure.
