About the position

The HR Operations/Workday HCM Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of Workday HCM projects. This role serves as a key figure in guiding project delivery, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and implementing actions to mitigate risks and enhance project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Successfully manage delivery of end-to-end Workday HCM projects
• Create and manage project plans, roadmaps, and priorities
• Assess action items, risks, and issue logs; facilitate meetings across cross-functional teams
• Prepare and deliver reporting, escalating concerns in a timely manner
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions and understand product enhancements
• Communicate task and deadline expectations to resources to keep projects on track
• Oversee task execution by the project team and monitor project progress
• Track testing requirements to completion with proper documentation for signoff

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• 3-5+ years of relevant Workday HCM experience
• Thorough understanding of Workday and experience leading HCM implementation projects
• Experience in internal/external audit controls and processes is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail driving data integrity and accurate reporting
• Collaborative working style with effective communication skills
• Ability to sit or stand at a desk and use a computer for prolonged periods
• Ability to communicate on a telephone and in group meetings
• May be required to lift up to 20 pounds and operate office equipment
