About the position

The Project Manager for Human Resources will play a critical role in overseeing and managing various projects related to the integration of Talent sub-functions within the organization. This position is essential for a contract period of 6-12 months and is based in Warren, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, tracking, and maintaining comprehensive reporting on project plans, progress, risks, and dependencies. This includes creating communication and change management materials to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, the Project Manager will lead multiple complex regional and global projects, requiring a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage time effectively amidst competing priorities and aggressive timelines. The candidate must possess strong analytical skills to critically assess issues using data and process-based evidence, ensuring that decisions are informed and strategic. The work environment is fast-paced and global, necessitating exceptional problem-solving abilities and project management skills. Collaboration across various functions is key, as the Project Manager will need to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with diverse teams. Familiarity with talent and performance management processes and systems, particularly Workday, is a plus. The ability to adapt to a consistently changing environment and a sense of urgency in project execution are essential traits for success in this position. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics functions will also be crucial for managing project data and reporting effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of M&A implementation experience in HR and/or Talent area.
  • Experience leading multiple, complex regional and global projects.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to critically analyze issues using data and process-based evidence.
  • Experience working in a large, global, and matrixed environment.
