About the position

The Project Manager for Human Resources will play a critical role in overseeing and managing various projects related to the integration of Talent sub-functions within the organization. This position is essential for a contract period of 6 to 12 months and is based in Wilson, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, tracking, and maintaining comprehensive reporting on project plans, progress, risks, and dependencies. This includes creating communication and change management materials to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, the Project Manager will lead multiple complex regional and global projects, requiring a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage time effectively amidst competing priorities and aggressive timelines. The candidate must possess strong analytical skills to critically assess issues using data and process-based evidence, ensuring that decisions are informed and strategic. The work environment is fast-paced and matrixed, necessitating exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative spirit to work cross-functionally with various teams. The Project Manager will also need to demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills, as they will be interacting with diverse stakeholders across the organization. Familiarity with talent and performance management processes and systems, particularly Workday, is considered a plus. The ability to adapt and be proactive in a consistently changing environment is crucial, as is a sense of urgency to drive projects to completion. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics functions will be essential for success in this role.
