About the position

The Project Manager I at PROS is responsible for delivering quantifiable business value aligned with customer objectives through effective project management methodologies. This role involves collaborating with various specialists to implement innovative solutions, ensuring project deliverables are met on time, and maintaining high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and deliver quantifiable business value that aligns with customer objectives.
  • Establish, track, and manage project expectations related to critical path activities for application deployment.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by providing timely and functional solutions.
  • Utilize implementation methodologies and best practices to successfully deliver projects.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are met on time and track progress while providing status reports.
  • Identify and mitigate implementation risks.
  • Manage and control project scope.
  • Provide a summary of implementation costs versus plan.
  • Communicate timely (verbal and written) with leadership, project teams, and business customers as appropriate.
  • Work alongside functional, industry, and technical specialists to assist with the implementation and integration of innovative solutions.
  • Analyze business processes that contribute to the configuration of PROS solutions.
  • Understand pricing software solutions and price management solutions to maximize customer value.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience managing and leading projects and project teams through the entire project life-cycle.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization, both externally and internally.
  • Experience with requirements definition and/or business process definition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable in customer environments.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical concepts and demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Strong customer focus, excellent teamwork abilities, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to be flexible and creative.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Ability to travel around 10%-20%.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in pricing, revenue management, SCM or CRM.
