About the position

The Project Manager I at ICS is responsible for overseeing project sites as the controlling contractor and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This role ensures the successful execution of projects by coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to adhere to standards, practices, and schedules, ultimately fostering lasting relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain project budget and schedule.
  • Coordinate on-site project team, contractors, vendors, and owner correspondence.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control of construction materials and installation.
  • Maintain a culture of safety on the project site.
  • Communicate productively and regularly with the owner.
  • Attend and run project meetings with stakeholders and project team.
  • Compile pricing and estimates for submittal to the owner in collaboration with architects and contractors.
  • Manage project by reviewing submittals, change orders, and RFIs for conformance and budget adherence.
  • Obtain necessary permits from corresponding agencies.
  • Work with owner and facility staff to ensure understanding of construction processes and project timelines.
  • Follow internal processes, policies, and delivery methods for construction projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams including site superintendent, project director, and project coordinator.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in an industry-related project management role.
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and convey project expectations to project team, partners, and clients.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
  • Ability to attend project-related meetings outside of normal business hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and project management software.
  • Proven ability to maintain integrity and ethical standards.
