About the position

The Project Manager II at ANR Group Inc. is responsible for managing project activities related to refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work. This role involves overseeing staff to ensure that projects are implemented safely, on schedule, and within budget. The position requires strong project management skills, including budget development, contract management, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work.
  • Provide oversight of staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring project activities.
  • Develop and track project budgets, ensuring cost control against budget.
  • Interface frequently with clients, engineers, and management to assure project progress.
  • Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.
  • Create project schedules that manage risk and track progress effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to senior management and other groups.
  • Support the implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field and fourteen years of experience in a technical field.
  • OR an AA/AS degree and sixteen years of experience in a technical field.
  • OR a High School Diploma or GED and eighteen years of experience in a technical field.
  • Project Management certification is required.
  • Experience in managing complex projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage activities.
  • Knowledge of advanced project management techniques in commercial nuclear power plants.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in a related field of study or business.
  • RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification.
  • Construction Management Certification.
  • Extensive experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry.
  • Nuclear plant operator production coordination experience.
  • Supervisory experience in maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction.
