About the position

Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager II - IT/Telephony to work in a hybrid capacity in Austin, TX. This role is pivotal in planning, coordinating, and executing IT Infrastructure integrations related to assigned IT Infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will evaluate workflow and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements within the teams, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement these enhancements. The successful candidate will partner with all IT departments and the Project Management Office to continuously develop procedures, processes, and documentation. This ensures that integrations are executed without adverse or unintended consequences, maintaining operational efficiency and adhering to the highest standards of security, service, and quality. Effective communication and collaboration with Project Managers, Operations teams, and IT Leadership in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, the Project Manager will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure thorough planning of design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. They will provide technical support during project integration and for up to three weeks post-project integration. Responsibilities also include scheduling meetings and facilitating communication between the project team and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. A strong technical knowledge of Telecom Infrastructure is required, covering areas such as hardware, applications, internal wiring, internet circuits, infrastructure support, and troubleshooting. The Project Manager will develop integration timelines and track all project action items to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS level education or equivalent in a related field plus a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience communicating with cross-functional teams and being the subject matter expert for IT integration projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years of enterprise technology platforms and infrastructure implementation project management experience is required.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high drive to succeed.
  • Problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to ensure all established deadlines are achieved.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technology project management experience in a health-care environment.
