About the position

The Project Manager II at Thermo Systems LLC is responsible for planning and overseeing a variety of control system projects from proposal generation through to project closeout. This role involves coordinating both internal and external personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager will handle strategic projects and provide guidance to junior project managers, while also working closely with technical staff and company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee control system projects from proposal to closeout.
• Coordinate internal and external personnel to complete projects on time and under budget.
• Undertake strategic projects or multiple projects of varying size.
• Provide guidance and training to junior project managers.
• Build relationships with customers and contractors.
• Assist project members during system installation and commissioning.
• Ensure adherence to the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Communicate effectively with customers and trade partners.
• Monitor project progress and adjust as required.
• Create scope of work for subcontractors and oversee execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or relevant technical field.
• 10+ years of total experience with at least 5+ years as a project manager.
• Proven track record of managing projects successfully.
• Excellent field experience and understanding of associated trades.
• Strong hands-on mechanical capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with control system design and its interface with other systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office tools.
