Puget Sound Energy is looking for a Project Manager to support the Business Lighting Incentive program. This position will manage the PSE incentive process for a wide variety of customer-owned commercial lighting projects. The successful candidate should have experience in project management working on multiple customers/contractors initiated projects at the same time. A general knowledge of, or the desire to learn, the technical aspects of commercial lighting is necessary as you will be the subject matter expert while working with customers. Upholding the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities is crucial. Ensuring duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations is also a key aspect of this position. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects in various phases of the construction process simultaneously. The candidate will evaluate submitted lighting projects for energy savings potential, including reviewing the existing lighting system and the proposed lighting fixture and control upgrades to the systems while ensuring compliance with all tariffs and financial procedures. The Project Manager will provide technical and project management functions to customer projects to produce sustainable energy savings by performing or overseeing energy audits of building energy systems, including reviewing facility energy-usage patterns, conducting detailed analyses of complex efficiency measures, and performing energy use modeling. The role also involves the applicability and recommendations of measures for achieving greater energy efficiency of measures to customer facilities and operations, final inspection of completed projects, and end-use monitoring of electrical loads with data analysis. Exceptional customer service is a priority, and the Project Manager will manage customer expectations by clearly communicating status and next steps. The role includes implementing and assisting with the analysis and development of market-centric programs and related tariffs to produce sustainable energy savings more effectively by identifying barriers and developing solutions. Marketing efficiency programs to eligible customers and various organizations is also part of the job. The Project Manager will implement projects and programs while ensuring compliance with all financial procedures and assist in the development of new and revised department policy proposals to increase the effectiveness of programs and services. Maintaining positive contractor relationships to ensure positive project development and follow-through is essential, as is consulting with others on technical, regulatory policy, and financial analyses. Monitoring the development and market acceptability of new energy technologies is also a responsibility of this role.
