About the position
The Project Manager II at CECO Environmental is responsible for overseeing projects within the newly acquired Compass Water Solutions platform, focusing on membrane-based industrial water treatment and related systems. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while also mentoring Project Manager I. The position emphasizes effective communication with clients and internal teams, as well as the management of project documentation and resources.
Responsibilities
- Work with Sales, Engineering, Finance and Management to respond to RFQ's.
- Communicate with clients to manage expectations, determine scope of work, prepare documentation, and satisfy their requirements.
- Identify and manage issues, risks, & changes.
- Manage multiple projects at any given time.
- Review specifications alongside Engineering and Sales to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Establish a Project documentation management system to manage documents required by the project.
- Utilize Project Management tools to effectively manage a project from start to finish.
- Conduct review meetings with Management and the Production Department to track the status of projects.
- Provide engineering assistance to all departments regarding interpretation of drawings and operation of products.
- Perform Document Control activities to submit documentation on time, according to client requirements.
- Schedule and facilitate testing activities such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in the Engineering field.
- 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience and project implementation.
- Strong Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Visio.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
