About the position

The Project Manager III - EP Delivery at Fluor Corporation is responsible for leading project management activities within the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) sector. This role involves overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and maintaining safety, quality, and profitability standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with various teams to establish project frameworks, manage resources, and ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a complete understanding of the Fluor prime contract and relevant subcontracts.
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) is emphasized throughout all phases of the project.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of the project in accordance with Fluor's contractual obligations and Operating System Requirements (OSR).
  • Verify project requirements for safety, quality, cost, and productivity are met in all locations managed by Fluor.
  • Draft project baseline for approval and ensure it is documented and communicated to the project team.
  • Support the Project Director in delivering the project according to execution and commercial baselines.
  • Lead the preparation of a written scope of facilities and services.
  • Establish and maintain effective client relations to stimulate follow-on work.
  • Participate in project reporting and management of cost and schedule.
  • Lead the establishment and update of the Fluor Business Risk Management Framework (BRMF) throughout the project life-cycle.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study.
  • Eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Jobsite experience and understanding of construction safety program.
  • Six (6) years of experience as project engineer or project specialist.
  • Demonstration of successful performance as Project Manager on small to medium sized projects.
  • Completed all required in-house project management courses.
