As a Project Manager III in the IT/Automation Infrastructure & CCTV department at Novo Nordisk, you will play a pivotal role in executing assigned projects across various business units while adhering to cost, quality, and schedule requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to lead multi-disciplined project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, meeting all specified requirements. You will coach and support junior project managers (PM1s and PM2s) in planning and executing their projects, thereby ensuring overall project success. This includes partnering with the Line of Business to guide projects, ensuring that they are executed and staffed according to the established plans, and supporting the development of project roadmaps and area master plans. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing project plans that align with the scope, schedule, quality, impact, and cost objectives. You will lead project teams, negotiate staffing requirements, and assist with the training of personnel involved in the projects. Additionally, you will provide project cash flow projections and high-level schedule projections to support budget cycles, refine business cases with project owners, and establish quantifiable project benefits. Your role will also involve managing contract resources and internal resources, refining project scopes, and ensuring effective use of time and resources to motivate employees. You will be accountable for the financial aspects of projects, including purchase order creation, management, invoicing, and cost forecasting. Monitoring and controlling project work will be crucial, as will reporting project progress to management and stakeholders. You will also support the building and improvement of Project Portfolio Management systems and ensure alignment with global programs and other site projects. Your responsibilities will extend to mentoring and onboarding new project managers, ensuring that all safety and environmental requirements are met during project execution.
