About the position

As a Project Manager III within PNC's Technology organization, you will manage large, complex projects from conception through implementation and post-project assessment. This role is crucial in ensuring that project objectives are met within established timeframes, and it involves collaboration with various internal teams to allocate resources, assign tasks, and direct project execution. The position is primarily based in a PNC location, with some responsibilities potentially performed remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment.
  • Accountable for meeting project objectives within established timeframes.
  • Develop strategy, processes, resource allocation, budget, guidelines, and support for the project management team.
  • Partner with internal project liaisons to acquire resources, assign tasks, direct activities, and control project execution.
  • Coach and mentor project team members.
  • Track and report progress, analyze results, define project products, and forecast future trends.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Maintain communications for governing bodies and interested parties, and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in project management.
  • Experience working with large complex projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile framework.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Background in infrastructure, data center, or networking.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.

  • Project management certification (not required but preferred).
