About the position

The Senior Program Manager at HealthEdge is responsible for supporting health plan, provider, and partner customers in the successful implementation of Wellframe products and services. This role serves as the primary operational contact for assigned customers, managing 2-4 implementations simultaneously, and ensuring that project milestones are met on time. The Senior Program Manager acts as a customer advocate, relaying feedback and identifying opportunities for product enhancement while mentoring junior Program Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary, daily point of contact to customer operational teams during implementation, building strong and lasting relationships with customer counterparts.
  • Coordinate Wellframe and Customer project/program resources and requirements needed for successful project delivery.
  • Manage project tasks, lead customer calls, train customer staff, and ensure deliverables are met on time and of the highest quality.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks that may impact project timelines and success, implementing risk mitigation measures as necessary.
  • Act as the primary intermediary between customers and HealthEdge teams during implementation.
  • Work with internal teams to help optimize delivery processes.
  • Identify potential expansion opportunities to sales and account management.
  • Lead the implementation of new products and services supporting existing customers.
  • Mentor junior Program Managers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in support of sales conversations.
  • Lead internal projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6-8 years of project management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience leading cross-functional, technical implementation projects in the healthcare space.
  • Experience working directly with external customers is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to understand and serve the multi-dimensional needs of customers.
  • Smart, well-organized, and collaborative, with strong attention to detail and experience in project management and operations.
  • Strong understanding of payer, provider, and other key stakeholders in the healthcare market landscape.
