The IT Enterprise Project Manager's primary function is to work within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Departments efforts. This role is critical in providing day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with the customer's IT leadership representatives and the contractor IT workforce to ensure smooth operations and effective project execution. In this position, the Project Manager will be responsible for scheduling, de-conflicting, and coordinating routine maintenance activities along with task/project efforts and emergency changes to minimize production systems and service downtime. The role encompasses the full range of matters pertaining to all assured information systems under the customer's cognizance. The Project Manager will directly support the government lead and provide day-to-day planning and oversight for the customer's data centers, networks, telecommunications infrastructure, servers, systems, services, and applications. The Project Manager will maintain an overall health and status awareness of all assigned resources and projects through effective and flexible resource and task management. Daily operations stand-up meetings will be conducted with the applicable contractor IT workforce to review operational status and planned work for the day, providing necessary updates to customer leadership as required. Additionally, the Project Manager will support the continuous improvement program for IT and develop recommendations for ideas, processes, and technology improvements to enhance overall IT management.
