About the position

The Project Manager (Information Technology) role is focused on overseeing and managing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The position requires a strong background in project management methodologies and experience in software development life cycles, risk management, and team management. The role is based onsite in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Build and manage project teams effectively.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using WBS and earned value techniques.
• Implement change management processes and quality assurance measures.
• Create and manage test plans and organize testing results.

Requirements

• Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) or equivalent certification (CSM, PMI-ACP).
• At least five years of experience in software development life cycle, configuration management, and risk management.
• Expertise in at least four types of systems such as asset management, budget systems, and document management systems.
• Prior experience with SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies in system design.
• Excellent contract management, coordination, and organizational skills.
