About the position

Liona Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead IT integration projects for federal government and enterprise clients. This role involves managing large-scale IT projects, ensuring compliance with federal contracting requirements, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The position offers the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT integration projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and client stakeholders, to meet project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with federal contracting regulations, standards, and requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members.
  • Oversee project subcontractors, vendors, and 1099 employees for each project.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least five years in IT integration projects.
  • Extensive experience working with federal government clients and a strong understanding of federal contracting processes and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
