About the position

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing medium to large-scale IT projects that have high visibility and risk. This role involves collaborating with various business units to define project scope, deliverables, budget, and schedule, while ensuring effective communication and management of project teams to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex and high visibility projects.
• Establish project scope, deliverables, budget, and schedule with business unit managers and project sponsors.
• Provide project management services to support IT team goals.
• Assemble project teams and manage ongoing project activities.
• Identify risks, implement changes, and monitor project progress.
• Ensure effective communication of project issues and updates to team members.
• Ensure project deliverables meet customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in project management.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

• PMI Certification.
• Knowledge of creating and tracking project schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Experience with project management processes and standards.
