About the position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our IT Infrastructure and Security team. This full-time remote position is crucial for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. The Project Manager will be responsible for acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to ensure successful project delivery. The role requires defining project objectives and overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all deliverables align with business goals and stakeholder expectations. In this role, the Project Manager will collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. They will set and manage project expectations, plan and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, and estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Additionally, the Project Manager will draft and submit budget proposals, recommend budget changes as necessary, and manage project development from inception to completion. Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts within the project team will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Plan, track, and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Develop, direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team

Requirements

  • 1+ years' direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • 3+ years' experience working in IT infrastructure field
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Asana, Jira, Wrike
  • Competent and proficient understanding of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Time and Attendance
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Excel, Word, Lucid Chart
  • Strong use of project planning and management tools (MS Office: Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint along with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Graphs, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
