SherlockTalent is seeking a seasoned IT Security Project Manager who will be responsible for managing and delivering one or more IT/Information Security project(s), within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost associated with the project. The ideal candidate will facilitate cross-team planning and estimation of IT Security projects, ensuring alignment on project scope across involved teams and leadership. This role requires the ability to manage and monitor interconnected IT/Security projects across various teams, ensuring that dependencies are exposed and scope is well understood. The Project Manager will track and monitor project status, ensuring that risks are reviewed and mitigated, issues are escalated and resolved, and changes are documented and approved using the organization's Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solution. In addition to project management, the role involves facilitating periodic synchronization meetings with key stakeholders to ensure a holistic view of the projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring proper and timely communication to all internal and external stakeholders, including status reports and updates to steering committees and resource managers. The position also requires the Project Manager to ensure that project teams are adequately staffed for the successful execution of Security projects, forecasting and tracking team resource needs as necessary. Budget management is a critical aspect of this role, as the Project Manager will proactively manage project financials to meet department planning, forecasting, and reporting deadlines. Risk management is also a key responsibility, with the Project Manager owning the tracking and mitigation of risks and issues across their Security projects. The role demands strong communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with both technical and non-technical teams involved in information security, including IT, Business, Networking, Systems, Finance, and Vendors. The Project Manager will act as a steward of the company, ensuring that project budgets are utilized effectively to achieve the stated scope and realize anticipated benefits, while being accountable for the delivery of Security projects within budget, on schedule, and of high quality.
